POLICIES
Hours The client must strictly adhere to the established departure and pickup times for the tour. Waiting time is not included in the service duration; any delay by the client may affect the itinerary without the right to a refund.
Prices and Rates: Children up to 2 years old: free of charge.
• Children ages 3 to 5: $700 MXN.
From 6 years and older: adult rate.
Payments: The tour must be paid in full at the time of booking to guarantee your spot.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancellations with ≥ 48 hours’ notice: 50% refund.
Cancellations made ≤ 48 hours prior to the tour: non-refundable.
In case of adverse weather conditions or force majeure: reschedule or 50% refund.
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days, minus applicable processing fees.
Liability Waiver – Turtle Tour (Akumal)
Participation in the Akumal Turtle Tour involves aquatic activities such as snorkeling, which carry inherent risks associated with the sea, marine life, and the use of equipment. Biwa Transport acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of personal belongings, or any incident resulting from causes beyond its control.
The client acknowledges that: They are in suitable physical and health condition to participate in aquatic activities.
They are responsible for following all instructions given by the guide and staff during snorkeling and transportation.
Travel insurance coverage applies only when safety rules are followed during transit (seatbelt use and remaining seated).
Biwa Transport is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the activity or free time at the beach.
By booking the tour, the client declares they have read and accepted these terms, as well as the cancellation, refund, and safety policies.
